so i spent the majority of yesterday working on these. but it was all worth it when i presented the finished product to my customer (who also happens to be a friend, and would have totally let me know if i'd let her down).
there's something happy about these. maybe its the reminder of spring, and the warm days it brings. maybe its the lemon-y scent, that reminds you of that lemonade stand you had in front of the house you grew up in (the fact that the only person that purchased a glass was your dad is insignificant). or maybe its just knowing that you get to eat a cupcake today....that always brightens my day. :)
these cupcakes are lemon poppy seed, with buttercream icing, and a fondant daisy.
